Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?: I am located about 30 minutes outside of Columbus Ohio. Most of my shoots will take place outdoors, weather permitting of course. However, indoor shoots can be done with additional fee of the studio rental.
What payment options do you accept?: Payments can be made by using the following payment services:

Do you have a cancellation policy?: Yes! Once you have booked your session, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required within 24 hours of booking. I am more than happy to reschedule to a later date if the original time slot no longer works. However, this must be communicated no later than 2 weeks before your session.
When can i expect my pictures?: You will receive your photos within 2-3 weeks of your session.
How can I prepare for the shoot?: My best advice is to pick out your outfit(s) early! Lots of times we have an idea in mind of what to wear and once we put it on its nothing like what we envisioned. When in doubt keep it simple!

Also, if you are booking a family session with little ones, don't put to much pressure on things being perfect. I aim to capture the authentic version of you and your family, no matter how that may look like!

Do you edit all your photographs?: Yes, I do! Every image that you receive has been hand edited, one at a time without the use of bulk editing. I believe a light edit can help to enhance an already beautiful photograph and take the image one step further!
How many pictures will we receive?: The number of photos depends on a few variables including the number of people being photographed, duration of session, type of session, and so on. On average, you can expect around 50-75 photos per hour, but the number of photos will vary depending on type of shoot.
Where can I view my photos after my session?: A week or two after the session, your edited images will be available for viewing in a private online gallery. You will be provided with a secured password once the photos are available.

I recommend downloading the pictures to a computer as you will only have online access to them through my website for 30 days.
What if it rains?: I'll get in touch a couple of days before the shoot (after consulting the weather forecast) and if it looks like rain, we can always reschedule! I want your photos to look the absolute best!
How do i book photos with you?: Please visit the Booking tab on my home page. All of my availability is listed online as well as the type of sessions I offer. When booking, please remember there is a non-refundable 50% deposit due within 24 hours of booking. Once this is paid, all I need is the signed session contract that will be sent after I receive your booking deposit.
